For the rest of us, who need some help planning a regular move, whether it’s cross-country (done it) or cross-town (yep, that too), here are some free helpers!

Designs By Miss Mandee created this free moving kit that has everything you’ll want right down to the labels! We especially love that she’s left a space on the labels for a box number…..and included a planning sheet where you can record the number and the box contents. Having been through a move three years a go where we got so fed up that we literally had boxes labeled “cr*p from downstairs living room” and “somebody’s desk junk”, we really appreciate this feature! Also? It’s all color coordinated by room. Swoon.

The Scattered Squirrel offered a full set of free moving planner checklist printables with everything from a page where you can track moving company estimates, to a cleaning checklist for both ends of the move. She has a set of moving planner pages too! You can even find a house hunting checklist to print if you haven’t picked a place yet.
